About The Founders
Our Mission
As the founder of E.S.A.K.,
I have been active in social services and community outreach for 30 years.
I started my career as a Chicago police officer in August of 1995.
My career as an active Chicago police officer was derailed when I suffered a life-altering disability, and in my now vast spare time, E.S.A.K. has become my passion. My

I started my career as a Chicago police officer in August of 1995.
My career as an active Chicago police officer was derailed when I suffered a life-altering disability, and in my now vast spare time, E.S.A.K. has become my passion. My many experiences throughout the years, and having a front-row seat to the community and experiences within my own family opened my eyes to the plights of different disenfranchised community members. It made me constantly reflect on what assistance is truly necessary. I considered what I could provide and what would be helpful to make day-to-day life easier, as well as aide in our community member's quality of life.
E.S.A.K. was founded to provide non-judgmental support to people in need, whether it's help with job searches, home searches, or resources for daily struggles.
